Lin and I met in 1973 in
Lincoln, Nebraska while I was working full time for the
Nebraska Air
National Guard. We dated for nearly a year before tying the
knot on Valentine's Day, 1974.
We have two daughters, two sons, 9 grandchildren and 2 great
grandchildren.
Currently, I work for the
University of Nebraska at
Lincoln as a Microcomputer Support Supervisor.
We moved back to Lincoln after
a 14 year stint in Beaverton, Oregon, where I worked for
Symantec Corporation as
the QA Lab manager in the Utilities Development Department. I
decided that the stress involved was too much, my health was
deteriorating and we opted for the "Good life" in Nebraska.
Lin works for
Ritchie Bros Auctioneers
as an Accounts Payable clerk. I've never seen a business that
treats their employee's so good!
